How it works
After purchasing your labels simply activate them on our website and apply them to your valuables.
When an item with a ReturnIT label is found, the finder simply calls the toll free number displayed on the label (1800 338 445), or visits our website to report the item found.
We will then coordinate the return of the lost valuables to their owner. We either arrange for the item to be taken to one of our 80 drop off centres or arrange for a courier to pick it up.
The owner of the found item will be charged a $15 recovery fee to cover administration expenses, plus $20 for the courier if applicable.
Following the successful return of your item we will dispatch a reward to the finder.
Why does it work?
It makes returning found items so simple.
Finders don't have to try and find the owner, pack a box, or pay for shipping and the only thing the finder knows about you is your ReturnIT label ID number.
We keep the whole process anonymous to protect both parties privacy. You never even need to meet the finder and there is no need to reveal private contact information. We'll handle the whole process for you.

There's a reward
Finders are also guaranteed a reward for their honesty. Once the item they returned reaches its owner, the finder receives our standard reward: A Mobility pack containing six ReturnIT labels, plus any additional cash reward specified by the owner.
