you&#8217;re probably good to go! Think soft drink cans, water bottles, juice cartons, iced coffee bottles, beer stubbies and wine bottles&#8230; you get the idea.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">Are there containers that are not accepted?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>\nYes, some drink containers will not be eligible for return even if they have a 10c refund mark. The following are currently excluded from the Queensland scheme:\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1044\">Containers <strong data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1027\">smaller than 150ml<\/strong> (e.g. Yakult).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1085\">Containers <strong data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1082\">larger than 3 litres<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"922\">Milk (over 1L)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"978\">Juice in containers over 1L<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"978\">Some cordial bottles (due to certain plastics used).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"978\">Health tonics<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1155\">Any container not properly labelled or damaged beyond recognition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">How can I check if my containers are eligible?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Look for the<strong> &#8220;10c refund&#8221; mark<\/strong> &#8211; usually near the barcode.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Download the <strong>Containers for Change<\/strong> app and use the eligibility scanner to check the barcode.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Search the <strong>Containers for Change Product Registry<\/strong> online to confirm.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">How should I prepare my containers before returning them?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><strong>Empty completely<\/strong> &#8211; no leftover liquids or rubbish inside<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep containers whole<\/strong> &#8211; broken or partial ones aren&#8217;t accepted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leave lids off<\/strong> &#8211; they&#8217;ll be recycled too, they just need to be separate from the bottle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Labels can stay<\/strong> &#8211; they&#8217;re also recyclable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You do not need to presort your containers based on materials. Our machines will do this for you.<\/p>\n<p>Following these steps helps machines scan and process containers faster, reduces contamination, and ensures your container is counted for a refund. Poorly prepared containers may be rejected.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">Why are some containers not eligible for a refund?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<p>Eligibility is determined by Queensland legislation. Refunds apply to drink containers typically consumed away from home.
