Community Support QLD

Since 2018, Return-It has formed partnerships with four community organizations in Queensland, offering valuable community support. These partnerships include Thirsty Operations in Bethania, LifeLine in South Toowoomba and Dalby, The Incredables in Paget, and Salvos in Bundamba.


Lifeline Darling Downs offers a range of broad-based services which include individual and family counselling, emergency relief, suicide prevention, and responses to natural disasters.

Lifeline Darling Downs operates service outlets in the communities of Charleville, Dalby, Oakey, Roma, St George, Stanthorpe, Tara, Toowoomba and Warwick. They deliver services that focus on specific issues or target groups and these include youth development projects, support groups for women experiencing domestic and family violence and programs to assist people living with mental illness.

The organisation also operates a successful social enterprise with 15 retail outlets across the catchment. All funds generated are reinvested in the organisation to support the ongoing delivery of services and support.


The Incredable team are a social enterprise committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities facing physical or mental disabilities and other disadvantages. The organization provides charitable services aimed at relieving suffering, distress, misfortune, and helplessness of these individuals, including employment and training opportunities in a secure and supportive environment. The team operates within an operating commercial business environment and collaborates with other community groups, government, industry, and businesses to achieve mutual benefits. Additionally, The Incredable team works with health and other professionals to educate the community on the issues surrounding the needs of individuals experiencing these challenges, as well as their families and support groups. The organization advocates for the improved provision of community support and services for those experiencing these challenges. Through their efforts, They are making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in need.


The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that provides a wide range of social services and support to individuals and communities in need. Their work focuses on fighting poverty, homelessness, addiction, and social injustice, and their programs and services include emergency assistance, disaster relief, food distribution, job training, rehabilitation services, and spiritual counselling. Founded in London in 1865, the Salvation Army has since expanded to over 130 countries and is recognized for its commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of society.


Thirsty Operations Containers for Change Depot QLD is a recycling facility that offers a convenient and eco-friendly way for Queensland residents to dispose of their used beverage containers. The depot is operated by thirsty operations after the sale of the previous business which was a global manufacturing company that specializes in the production of all things metal, and has been appointed as an authorized container refund point by the Queensland government. At the depot, customers can drop off their eligible containers and receive a refund of 10 cents per container, as part of the state’s container refund scheme.
